If you lived where I live, you’d be better off calling the number for Fire & Police than 911.
I called a month ago, b/c my sister was visiting and needed help. I described the emergency, and the Operator asked “Are you SURE she has a diagnosis?”
I restated myself, assured her it’s an emergency and demanded that she send help.
This woman had no business working for 911. If she’d done that to someone unfamiliar w/ emergency care, the results could have been disastrous.

All 3 of my brothers have asthma and my dad does too and 2 of my uncles on my dad’s side of the family.
So it runs in the males of our family , i don’t have it (ime a girl) but i would do anything to save someone who is having an attack cuz it’s truly upsetting. x

I have had asthma all my life and I know how this woman was feeling. But what is often overlooked is what her husband felt. This story brings back memories of my own near fatal attacks.
